Welcome

photograph by Lindsay Roberts [0]photograph by Lindsay RobertsWELCOME to the website of Borders Organic Gardeners (BOG), a group of enthusiastic friendly organic gardeners from The Scottish Borders and Northumberland.

We run three major public events during the year. Potato Day is at the beginning of March In Kelso, Produce Day in September in Berwick for 2008, and Apple Day is near Jedburgh in October.

Besides this members get a newsletter three times a year, access to our exciting programme of workshops, talks and visits across the region, discounts on our collective seed order and access to the advice and discussions on this website.

Find out more about forthcoming events by clicking “Events 2008” or upcoming events.

Find out more about recent events and activities by visiting “Events Reports” and “Image Galleries”.

Try out some of our tasty recipes.

Membership is still only £5 per year per household- see “Join” for application details.

If you are already a member of BOG, you need to register as a user before you can get access to the rest of the site. Contact the membership secretary or use “Contact”.

Note on 5th Feb. 2008: the new BOG email addresses, as listed in February BOG NEWS, are now functioning.

We have produced two new leaflets: What is Organic Gardening & Towards Greener Gardening. These can be downloaded. We hope they are of interest.
